AMR invests every year in new testing devices. In 2002 AMR developed a new traction stand with an integrated oven.This computerized benchtest allows to get directly the bonding specifications in all temperature levels with graphs edition.

The characterization of a thermo-setting bonding wire now takes only half a day time with about 400 measurements to get a whole graph.

The investment of very accurate drying ovens (>300° C +/- 1°C) allows a different management of the testing process to obtain impartial validations for the manufacturers or the users of enamelled wires.

These new tools are completing the AMR’s previous testing devices dedicated to the standardized and non-standardized wires.

Technology is upgrading quickly as well the users needs and all the new demands where classical tests are showing their limits.
