Joule effect polymerization
cross section of a thermo-setting bonding wire
The thermo-setting bonding wire (copper but also aluminium) is a copper enamelled wire with a bonding final layer (bondcoat).
The thermo-setting-bonding wire has the property to become adhesive when heating to get rigid components in an irreversible way like all the windings obtained with standard impregnation but without the disadvantages.
The thermo-setting wire allows the same features as those obtained with classical impregnation, but the products design, industrialization process and the new implementation have to be different.
